Autorenporträt
Author, emotional well-being educator, and poet KD Gates, a fanatic over well-written words, garnered a strong love for poetry at a young age. Reading classics like "And Still I Rise" by Maya Angelou and light-hearted poems by Shel Silverstein gave her a deep appreciation for inspirational quotes, poetry, and healing notes. Later, after reflecting on her adolescent years of trauma, rejection, and fear, K.D. noticed she found a sense of release and contentment through writing, dreaming, and learning-three of her best-loved hobbies.
