Daniel M. Jaffe is a prize-winning writer whose short stories and personal essays have appeared in dozens of anthologies, newspapers, and literary journals in over half a dozen countries. His book, "Foreign Affairs: Male Tales of Lust & Love," was selected by Kirkus Reviews as one of the Best Indie Books of 2020 and one of the Best Indie Short Story Collections of 2020. He is the author of the novels "Yeled Tov" (2018: Rainbow Awards Finalist and Honorable Mention) and "The Limits of Pleasure" (2001; "ForeWord Magazine" Book of the Year Award Finalist; reprinted in 2010, 2019). He also wrote the novel-in-stories, "The Genealogy of Understanding" (2014; Rainbow Awards Finalist and Honorable Mention), and the short story collection, "Jewish Gentle and Other Stories of Gay-Jewish Living" (2011). He authored "One-Foot Lover," the inaugural chapbook in the Seven Kitchens Press Editor's Series (2009). In addition, Daniel compiled and edited "With Signs and Wonders: An International Anthology of Jewish Fabulist Fiction" (2001) and translated "Here Comes the Messiah!" (2000), a Russian-Israeli best-seller by Dina Rubina.
