Autorenporträt
I owe one of most important life lessons to my dad. As a young child, I was shy and self-contained - and an easy target for bullies. Going home with cuts and bruises was a daily ritual, yet I hid the fact that I was being pushed around for so long. One night, I broke down in front of my dad, who told me that: "If anyone bothers you, step back, make a fist and stand your ground." This advice helped me to become more vocal and fearless. I began to develop a tough outer skin and a newfound respect for myself that no bully could ever break. Be not afraid. For that and more, dad, I'd like to dedicate this book to you.
