As a member of Poets Against the War, and with the support of his beloved wife, Gretel, Riaz Alam has chosen to publish this first work as a protest against intolerance and an acknowledgement that even in the most dark of human affairs, beauty and hope can be found. He is currently living in Dubai with his wife and their two cats and enjoys spending time in the outdoors both on foot and on his motorcycle.
