Olivia Thomason entertains and enlightens children by combining her self-taught painting skills with storytelling, something she has been doing for adults throughout a remarkable career. The acclaimed gallery owner, art educator and award-winning artist is hailed by historian Dr. Richard Funderburke as "Georgia's Queen of Folk Art." Her works are featured in corporate and private collections throughout America. Ms. Thomason has appeared on CNN and many network TV affiliates. Blessed with a rare talent for painting scenes from a child's perspective, Ms. Thomason, a proud mother and grandmother, is also an accomplished cook. She lives with her family in Stone Mountain Historic Village near Atlanta.
