F. Scott Fitzgerald (1896-1940) est l'un des plus grands écrivains américains du XXe siècle. Surtout connu pour son roman The Great Gatsby, il a capturé dans ses ¿uvres les excès et les désillusions de l'âge du jazz. Sa prose brillante, ses commentaires sociaux acérés et son exploration du rêve américain ont fait de lui une voix déterminante de la littérature américaine.
