Michael McKenna is the host of the Final Frontier radio program that airs every Wednesday night at 9:00pm Central and online at WRWO FM 94.5. The first half hour of the Final Frontier takes an in depth look at every album by Irish rock band Thin Lizzy. In the second half hour, an original radio play airs; written, produced, directed and narrated by Michael with full audio effects. In all, 32 separate radio dramas air during the course of each 29 episode Final Frontier Season. The series launched on St. Patrick's Day, 2021 and is still airing in syndication. The radio stories range from 18 to 25 minutes long and are always followed by a Thin Lizzy track that compliments them. Their themes are eerie, mystery, suspense and Christian. All shows are archived at Marquette University, 1355 West Wisconsin Ave. Third Floor. Michael McKenna is an 18 year veteran of PBS TV in Chicago and has recently celebrated 25 years in radio.
