Autorenporträt
Enrica Sow was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, raised in Los Angeles, and became a nomad as an adult. She has lived in the Mid-West, on the East Coast, Mauritania, and the United Arab Emirates. Her travels, career as a Montessori teacher, and raising her own family has given her many stories to tell. Enrica enjoys writing about children doing amazing things as they navigate their world. She has written three novels with varying themes: Farewell Tana (bereavement), Dust (resilience), and My Kufi and Me (self identity). Her latest book, The Great Shoe Caper, tells the story of how Zahra, a shy girl with a speech impediment solves a mystery at her neighborhood masjid.
