Autorenporträt
Phil Carradice is a full time writer and broadcaster. He is a graduate of Cardiff University and UWIC in Cardiff and taught for thirty years, becoming Head of a large residential Special School. He has written over forty books, ranging from novels and poetry to history and biography. His most recent novel is The Black Chair, the story of Welsh poet Hedd Wyn who died in 1917 only to win the Eisteddfod Chair, posthumously, six weeks later. Phil had also recently written Nautical Training Ships for Amberley and, with his wife Trudy, Golf in Wales. He regularly broadcasts on BBC Radio and TV and presents the BBC Wales history programme The Past Master.He lives in St Athan, Wales.
