She is a lifelong Bible student who transitioned to Christian writing after her retirement from the University of Florida. She writes as a nondenominational Protestant Christian, who makes her church home at Countryside Baptist Church in Gainesville, FL. She also is the author of Jesus Speaks to a World in Turmoil, published in 2014 through Amazon.com.
