Autorenporträt
Suzanne is a British citizen who moved to Hong Kong in 2015. In late 2017 a series of typhoons devastated the region. After joining a beach clean-up, her eyes and heart were opened to the immense problem of plastic pollution in the ocean. Propelled by a love of nature and being a keen dragon boater, Suzanne founded a volunteer organisation. She turned to her new sporting community to raise awareness of the volume of single use plastic used in the sport. With great success and plenty of frustrations along the way, her journey then took her a step further to write children's books raising awareness to youngsters, about the issues that face not only Hong Kong but the planet. Her books take Suzanne to schools within Hong Kong, reading her stories and discussing with children how we can change human habits for the sake of our planet. The book series is a work of passion, a true calling.
