Melody Lomboy-Lowe nació y creció en el Sur de California. Ella es una sobreviviente de cáncer infantil de leucemia y desde entonces ha sido una defensora en la comunidad del cáncer. Su primer libro, Más Allá de la Remisión: Palabras de Aliento Para Renacer, es un libro de esperanza que presenta retratos e historias de sobrevivientes de cáncer para inspirar y brindar comunidad a los luchadores recién diagnosticados. Ayudar a otros a sanar y celebrar la vida a través de la adversidad es una misión que continúa dentro de Luna Peak Foundation, de la cual Melody es co-fundadora. En estos días, a ella le gusta pasar momentos al aire libre con su esposo y sus tres hijos.--Melody Lomboy-Lowe was born and raised in Southern California. She is a childhood cancer survivor of leukemia and has been an advocate in the cancer community ever since. Follow Me, Cancer Free is a book she wishes she had at diagnosis. Her first book, Beyond Remission: Words of Advice for Thriving, is a book of hope that features cancer survivor portraits and stories to inspire and provide community to newly diagnosed fighters. Helping others heal and celebrate life through adversity is a mission she continues within Luna Peak Foundation which she co-founded. She enjoys being outdoors with her husband and three sons.
