Andrea Safrit is an author and illustrator with a passion for creating stories for children. She inherited her love of art from her mother, an artist herself, who put a paintbrush in her hand before she knew how to walk. Andrea studied Illustration at the Savannah College of Art and Design, Rhode Island School of Design and the University of North Carolina-Charlotte. She currently lives in North Carolina with her husband, two children and a house full of pets.
