Her passion is standing up for the voiceless of society and being an advocate for change and the betterment of society.

Autorenporträt
Ziyan Ennis is a 13-year-old, African American female currently in the 8th grade, from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She is the youngest daughter to two loving parents: Her mother is a Diabetes Nurse Educator.  Ziyan's currently one of the top three students academically in her 8th grade class. She is a tutor for in the school’s after-school program and captain of the school’s volleyball team which for the past two seasons are State Champions.  Ziyan has always loved writing and telling stories. Her parents have always been supportive of her writing.  They pushed her to cultivate her gift which has assisted her in releasing this thoughtful and informative book. Ziyan would tell you that she never thought a dream about her mother’s teachings would lead to this impactful children’s book, but here it is. This may be her first published book but certainly won’t be her last. She has many lessons and stories to share.
