"James C. Work is author/editor of sixteen books set in the American West, including four award winning books: Prose and Poetry of the American West; Following Where the River Begins; Windmills, the River and Dust; and Don't Shoot the Gentile. FiveStar has published eight of his novels including five volumes of the Keystone Ranch series in which each western story parallels a legend taken from the King Arthur chronicles. The Grub Rider is the sixth volume of the Keystone Ranch series. Dr. Work served as President of the Western Literature Association and Executive Director of Colorado Seminars in Literature. He is a Professor Emeritus at Colorado State University. >
