The main purpose of this book is to explore the types and forms of Economic, Security and Diplomatic challenges that encounter the HoA mainly Ethiopia as a result of the Gulf dispute. Participants of this work were comprised of diplomats, scholars, and experts in the area. The study data were collected through interview and document review. Analysis of qualitative data were discussed based on their relation to the factors, actors and implications of the crisis. The findings of the study prevailed that there are critical and multidimensional actual, and potential security, economic, and diplomatic challenges and problems for the Horn of Africa in general and Ethiopia in particular emanating from the dispute within the Gulf states. In order to reduce the negative impacts, Ethiopia should insist on the neutral position along with hard working to improve the internal political and economic problems. The only possible alternative to tackle the negative impacts and to ensure sustainable development at regional level is integration and cooperation among the Horn African countries.
