Helen writes authentic novels set in the transgender community. Having belonged to and led several trans/ LGBT groups, campaigned for trans rights, provided workshops on trans issues, and been a counsellor specialising in gender variant clients, she has a wealth of personal and other experiences to draw on - and can ensure that the settings are historically accurate.The tales demonstrate that each trans person's experiences are unique - and that being trans is just a part of their lives.She has now published four novels and one novella:Helen is involved in Manchester Women's Writers' Group, whose critiques of her work has been very valuable and Out on The Page - an LGBT writing group.She has a website for her writing at www.helendaleuthor.info - sign up to her mailing list to hear about future books.
