Nacida y criada en el estado de Washington, Cassandra reside allí con su esposo, Eric, y sus hijos, Jackson y Wyatt. A los tres años, a Wyatt le diagnosticaron autismo. Después de recorrer el difícil camino de la negación, la educación, la aceptación y, finalmente, la abogacía.
