Gaebelein was passionate about teaching the Bible and often focused on Old Testament prophecies, exploring their relevance to modern times and their fulfillment through New Testament teachings. Throughout his career, Gaebelein contributed significantly to Christian education and theology, emphasizing the importance of understanding Scripture in its historical and prophetic context. His legacy includes his influence on students and ministers who followed his teachings. He was also the father of Frank E. Gaebelein, an influential educator and philosopher in Christian education. Gaebelein passed away in 1945 at the age of 84, leaving behind a body of work that continues to impact the study of Bible prophecy and Christian thought.
