Throughout his career, Gaebelein contributed significantly to Christian education and theology, emphasizing the importance of understanding Scripture in its historical and prophetic context. His legacy includes his influence on students and ministers who followed his teachings. He was also the father of Frank E. Gaebelein, an influential educator and philosopher in Christian education.
