Karol is also an actor and storyteller. Karol started portraying Harriet in 1999. She has shared Harriet Tubman's stories as a jovial endearing elderly Aunt Harriet. In schools, libraries, and other locations, Karol brings audiences As Close to Meeting Harriet Tubman as You Will Ever Be. Karol wrote the screenplay and performed in the movie, Harriet Tubman, Love In Action, released in 2022.
