Helen Whitbread - a poetry novice in 2015, formerly a finance manager. Enjoys art and her photographs punctuate this book. John Steele - retired Free Church minister who has written poetry for most of his life. Pam Hall - born in Derby, Pam worked as a clerk to the courts and as a teaching assistant. She has two adult children, enjoys rambling and gardening and rediscovered her love of poetry in retirement. Pauline Swindells - a poet for decades, retired Lecturer and Social Worker. Social Scientist continuing. Sandie Duke - retired Civil Servant, originally from Tyne and Wear. Wrote poetry as a child and joining the Group rekindled her interest. Sue Parker - Retired teacher of primary age special educational needs. Poetry writing and amateur dramatics have always been favourite leisure activities.
