Autorenporträt
The author, Catherine Witmer, is a licensed therapist who worked in a residential treatment facility for over 10 years helping teenage girls and their families, and is currently the Director of Counseling for Care Corps International, a faith based trauma care organization. She became a stay- at- home mom in 2012 to help take care of her daughter with Down Syndrome. She always wanted to write a children's book and recalled a time in her counseling work when she made up a story about a hedgehog that struggled with anger, and she asked a client to try what the hedgehog did. This approach made an impact in the life of the client.
