Autorenporträt
About the author: She is the widow of a career Navy Photographer. Born in Illinois, she grew up there and in Florida, and lives now with her daughter in Georgia. Her days are spent reading every book she can come by, and corresponding with the few surviving shipmates, recalling days in the service. Now, approaching her 93rd birthday, she scans bits and pieces of her life-a life which, although long, she feels now seems hardly more than one blink of God's eye.
