This innovation guide profoundly analyses the four most common innovation approaches: service innovation, change management, lean startup management and business planning. Its evaluation is approached from the perspective of the investor as well as from its decision making process. Each of the evaluated theoretical approaches contribute in a fundamental way in fulfilling the required criteria in the investment decision process. The key findings are linked in a new integrated innovation method, which describes how the transition from a technology dominated orientation transforms into an integrated market orientation. This integrated approach is reviewed in 17 qualitative interviews with high tech entrepreneurs. These interviews reveal and highlight todays' blind spots in applied innovation. This guide shows based on the new innovation method how to avoid these blind spots. This book closes with recommendations for high tech entrepreneurs for increasing their success rate in capital acquisition.
