This study focuses on the Ethnography of the nature of Goma Statehood, one of the five monarchic administrations of Gibe. It specifically tried to examine some particular matters that were used to determine the nature of Gomma statehood by examining both the external and internal variables. In this case, two major external and three internal factors. the details were made based on the deep investigation of those factors. The first two points claimed by former scholars are the influence of the neighboring kingdoms and the Arab. However, the current finding shows the different thing as it indicates emerge with The first indigenous matter was the maintained administrative change from Gada system to the king-like stricture within its internal dynamism. The second case that had likely changed the contemporary governance structure of Gomma from Gada System to a hereditary or kinglike structure was the law of prophet (seera qaallu). The third basic reason for the alteration of Gada system to the central governance structure was the instability of the area that had, in turn, empowered the abba-dulla (war-leadership) to take over the territorial control.
