As a gender historian who specializes in social history and women's history. I plan to publish a series of books about several "Women's Firsts," and The History of Women in the Marines is its first volume. By publishing books on these crucial topics, I hope to contribute to the Women's Rights Movement through popularizing history and presenting the lives and stories of strong women. I have devoted years to researching women's rights and women's history to present the reader with a book that is both as engaging, boundary-breaking, informative, and inspiring as the women who grace its pages. This book is the product of my passion for women's independence and equality and a recognition of their rightful place in history, where they have historically been overlooked
