William Ryan, 1965 in London geboren, ist in Irland aufgewachsen. Er hat als Anwalt und Justiziar gearbeitet, bevor er sich dem Schreiben zuwandte. Nach Arbeiten für Film und Fernsehen veröffentlichte er 2006 eine Kurzgeschichte. William Ryan lebt heute mit seiner Frau Joanne in London.
