Jango Bob is a different kind of bounty hunter. He's a bounty hunter with a conscience and a strong sense of honor. Jango is all for collecting a bounty on a lawbreaker, but he's not keen on shooting a defenseless man, or killing a man in cold blood. He developed a strong sense of honor because of the lessons his father had taught him long ago. The lessons extended far beyond how to shoot a gun, or defend himself. The lessons were all about honor and how it was the most important thing in life. Jango Bob took the lessons of his father to heart. They were etched in his mind and heart when his father was killed by two treacherous outlaws. His father's tragic death ensured that Jango would never forget what he taught him. Jango encounters an old judge fleeing New Orleans with his young and fetching bride. They will be fleeing on a private train headed out of the besieged city. The judge is wealthy and promises Jango a sizable reward for escorting himself and his wife to safety. He has it on good information that train robbers will try and seize the train they're on and take his wealth. Jango must protect the judge and his wife, but he will soon realize that this job is about more than just money. It's about honor and it's not all it seems to be.

Autorenporträt
Jeremiah Journey owns one of the largest cattle ranches in Wyoming. He worked alongside his older brother Jacob until Jacob's death in August 2024. Riding beside Jacob, they talked many times about writing a Western. Jacob would say, "You're the one with the imagination, so, you should be the one to write it." Jerry decided if a Western was going to be written, he was going to have to write it. He dedicates this first novel to his brother Jacob Journey.
