The Hoodie is a collection of stories depicting some of the challenges our youth face today. Many children are misunderstood by society, peers, and even family members. This book reveals the importance of relationships, understanding, listening, and unconditional love for children. The Hoodie allows the reader to "walk a mile in another's shoes" so that they can understand the child for who they are versus what messages society tells us about them. Hoodies have a bad reputation in society due to media and unjust biases that have been formed due to a few situations. Our youth today wear hoodies daily and in every season. Some wear the hoodie just because it's comfortable and others wear it to cover hurt, pain, and their differences. The Hoodie is sometimes used as a cover.
