His graduate studies were in Europe, where he earned a doctorate in philosophy at the University of Freiburg (Switzerland) and a doctorate in Sacred Scripture at the Pontifical Biblical Institute, Rome. Presently he lives in Dayton with his wife, Arlene, and their three sons. This book, The House Church in the Writings of Paul, has been translated into Korean and Portuguese.
