Domus Nulla Salus (The House of No Salvation) Salvation is the state of being saved or protected from harm or a dire situation. Most theorists agree that the concept of evil can be harmful or dangerous, but there is considerable disagreement about what conclusion should be drawn from this fact. Evil-skeptics believe that because the (very) concept of evil is harmful or dangerous, we should abandon it in favor of less dangerous concepts such as 'badness and wrongdoing.' The Evil-skeptics do not understand how evil works - by illusion. The demon never tempts its 'mark' by presenting something before it that looks bad. The demon takes terrible things and presents them under the guise of something good, something desirable, something attractive - That's called temptation. (You don't know how hot the pizza is until you eat it.) The menacing, rotting stone Victorian mansion held a secret: "...When the unclean spirit has gone out of a person, it passes through waterless places seeking rest but finds none. Then it says, 'I will return to the house from which I came.' And when it returns, it finds the house empty, swept, and put in order. It goes and brings with it seven other spirits eviler than itself, and they enter and dwell there. The body it seeks is no longer there...".(Matthew 12:43-45) - the evil; spirit stays.

Autorenporträt
This book relies on the substance of "past stories." Remember, this is just one of a series of books. If you have not read other books in the series, you may be confused about the references and "reveals" in this story. All my books should be read in the same order in which they were published (in the same order that I wrote them). However, I recognize a bias because it is impossible to imagine the takeaway from any book or story without knowing all the previous installments. I worry that "skipping around" in the series could ruin certain reveals in other books. It is difficult to wrap my mind around reading the stories differently and impacting the reading experience.
