George Sylvester Viereck was a German/American poet, writer, and propagandist. Viereck became a well-known Nazi apologist. He was indicted for a violation of the Foreign Agents Registration Act in 1941 for establishing his publishing house, Flanders Hall. In 1942 he was imprisoned for five years.
