The human experience for the search of spirituality is complex, unique, and individual. Even though there may be frameworks of reference provided by particular cultures, the searches for meaning, the journey itself, and its completion, are all a subjective and deeply personal endeavor. The author through his own experiences brings to the reader a very reflective and intimate study of a search which starts with the breakdown of what we believe, the alchemy of the changes, and ultimately the birth of a new awareness. Aligned with radically transformational experiences such as Afro-Caribbean spirituality, Gnosticism, metaphysics, and the spirituality of South American shamanism, the human archetype continues to evolve within circular measures of time. All linear references disappear as the author's journey played itself out in what could only be at that time, in that form, his own. Without negating the validity of form or experience, one thing remains constant: the human search for spirituality is as varied as the souls undertaking it.
