The ills of the human Soul---what some refer to as Psyche--- can be profound and have far reaching effects. The absence of a healthy Soul affects the individual, the family, society, and the natural environment. This is systemically reflected in worldwide violence and social upheavals, corrupt political and corporate structures, an unjust global economic system, the egregious disparity between the rich and poor, and the escalating destruction of the environment. The need for a mature, healthy Collective Psyche as well as a model of the Soul that outlines the path to that unifying Psyche has reached a critical level. The model of the Soul offered in this book makes a contribution toward unifying consciousness across cultures and disciplines by illustrating an empirically based phenomenology and epistemology. Alliances between Eastern and Western psychology, philosophy, religion, mysticism, and science are presented. Integration of the mature feminine and masculine is promoted. This book presents an expanded model of the Soul presented in my book, The Anatomy of the Soul: An Authentic Psychology, and is intended to appeal to an erudite audience.
