Autorenporträt
Róbert Hermann (1963, Székesfehérvár, Hungary). He studied at the Eötvös Loránd University in Budapest. He then became a historian at the Institute and Museum of Military History. Since 2013, he has also been Professor at the Károli Gáspár Reformed University, Head of the Doctoral School of History, and since 2016 Head of the Dualism Research Group at the VERITAS Historical Research Institute and Archives. Since 2016 he has been President of the Hungarian Historical Society. To date, he has published some 30 books and 350 papers. His main research topic is the history of the Hungarian Revolution of 1848-1849.
