Why are there people that we avoid? When walking past them, we purposely avert our eyes, we look anywhere but at them, pretend they don't exist. They could be poor, homeless, or just plain look different than we do. We don't even know what to think. Our conscience prickles uncomfortably. Anger, frustration, and the inability to act brings us into direct conflict with what we know to be right. Sam has no idea that her solid, dependable life is about to come crashing to a halt. She will have to make the choice to acknowledge people she had not always considered. But will her choices make life better? Or will her decisions cause more conflict than ever?
