Autorenporträt
Scott Cummings is an author, speaker, and outdoorsman. His hunt and travel articles, product reviews, and photography have appeared in many media outlets and magazines, like Adventure Sports Outdoors, Covey Rise, MidWest Outdoors, Shooting Sportsman, and Upland Almanac. A former art educator in Indiana, Cummings (M.Ed., M.Div.) infused nature into his curriculum, where his students garnered many awards in wildlife painting. He was formerly named Conservation Educator of the Year for Wildlife Forever and National Wild Turkey Federation for his work with children in and out of the classroom. Scott has held shepherding, mentoring, and equipping roles in men's ministry dynamics, helping various church denominations start or revamp their current men's programming. He's directed men's conferences at the local, state, and national-regional levels in Indiana. As empty nesters, the Pennsylvania native and his wife chose the warmer weather of the South Carolina Lowcountry in 2021.
