Autorenporträt
Barry Frank Cohen, a first-time author and longtime resident of Mashnee Island, draws inspiration from his cherished summers spent on the Island from 1965 to 2001. While new to fiction writing, Barry honed his storytelling craft through decades of writing poetry and short stories. His father Sherman Cohen, a distinguished poet, instilled in Barry a love for literature from a young age.Currently residing outside Boston with his wife Jackie, Barry finds joy in being close to his children, Jessica and Daniel, and delights in the company of his four beloved grandchildren: Penelope, Tripp, Brooks, and Hayes.Beginning his Mashnee Island adventures at the age of seven, Barry's debut novel fulfills a lifelong ambition. His next book, "Boscage," is already in development.
