The city's waterfronts are part of a regional urban context and show how space is a product of social actions, because together with the metropolis of Pará, they undergo direct changes in various issues such as political, social, economic and cultural, which are reflected in space. The influence of social actions is the main factor we intend to investigate in this work. Our main objective is to understand how the various forms of land use and occupation occur on the Icoaraci waterfront and their interrelationships with the configuration of this space as a public space. The result is to help strengthen the tourist and commercial network and the access of people who frequent the area.
