Knowing that feminism has long identified language as a primordial site of the manufacture of gender, and thus as a site of struggle, and knowing that language is thus not only the theater of feminist political interventions, but also a recurrent object of discussion, we will see that the author uses literature as a means of expressing her social and even political claims.
