Public procurement in Colombia has been constantly transformed by successive regulatory changes that have sometimes made its development difficult. In order to make contributions in this area, this research seeks to develop an analysis of the contributions and limitations of Decree 1510 of 2013 in public procurement in the country. Through a qualitative-descriptive methodology, a documentary review was carried out to determine the impacts of the aforementioned decree on issues such as corruption and at the same time to establish some conclusions on the application of this regulation in the nature of public procurement in the country.
