This experimental study investigated the relationship between dialogue-circles and freshmen's speaking skill. Based on some theories of language development, this research attempted to study the impact of dialogue circles, taking place beyond the walls of classrooms, on learners' oral skills in the Moroccan EFL context. Accordingly, two comparative undergraduate groups enrolled in the 1st year of English studies at Moulay Ismail University were observed on a pre-and-post-testing occasion by devising three speaking tasks of Oral Proficiency (Monologue, Dialogue, and Multilogue). From a statistical perspective, the findings obtained from the speaking proficiency tasks provided strong evidence that English circles have improved speaking ability of the participants in the experimental group, to be precise monologic, dialogic and group-interactional skills.
