Nowadays, even almost all of the information that can be found in the field of Social Responsibility lacks of a financial substance, this research affirms its relevance from a financial perspective, involving the performance of companies that are listed on social indexes, like the DJSI or FTSE4Good. In most cases, all the time invested on any socially responsible strategy, is rewarded not only as a public relations benefit, but also financially, such as the financial compensation received by social funds. Several analyses that are conducted within this research range from the impact of firm s size and industry, to those companies that provide sustainability reports. Also three comparisons are analyzed in order to demonstrate the performance of social funds. Concluding, this research contributes not only to Social Responsibility previous knowledge, but also can be considered as a starting point for a forward analysis in terms of the financial performance in international markets.
