This study focuses on "The impact of international conflicts on African and Western states". It is part of the "Special Issues in Conflict Management" seminar. The United Nations Organization (UNO) was created in the aftermath of the Second World War by the United Nations Charter, signed in San Francisco to save succeeding generations from the scourges of war. The very reason for its existence is to maintain international peace and security. Since then, the UN has carried out several missions around the world, in Asia, America and Africa.Current international conflicts are having a considerable impact on African and Western states, particularly in economic and social terms. Indeed, in Africa, and particularly in the Great Lakes region, the armed conflicts raging there are not only causing human damage, but also slowing economic growth.
