They can now afford to pay for electricity, gas and medical treatment. The increase in their income has enabled them to participate in household decision making process. All these in turn have led to enhancement of their status in the society. A sense of self- confidence for further improvement of life style has aleady been instilled within the mind set of the women slum dwellers.
