This resulted in some governments implementing Recruitment and Retention Incentive Policy for Qualified Educators in Remote Schools with the aim of supporting the recruitment and retention of qualified educators at remote schools. The book investigates the impact that the policy on the recruitment and retention of qualified educators in remote schools has on the recruitment and retention of qualified educators at remote schools. The results indicate that though there is a big impact by the policy on the recruitment and retention of qualified educators, educators affected by the policy are not happy with the categorisation of schools on which the incentive is based.
