The study examines the impact of information technology on the Nigerian banking industry, focusing on data from three commercial banks: Access Bank Plc, Guaranty Trust Bank Plc, and Zenith Bank Plc. The research aimed to evaluate the impact of online transfers, mobile banking, and the installation of automated teller machines on the performance of these institutions. The results showed a significant positive impact of online transfers on the performance of these institutions. The study concludes that technology integration in banking operations is more contemporary than traditional banking operations, and that online transfers have a positive impact on the performance of these institutions.
