This research arises in the context of university extension actions developed in the Pedagogical School of Bengo, through the project Guidance to Families of Children with Special Education Needs (OFCNEE), in which I was a member while attending my degree, and its main objective is to assess the social impact of university extension actions of that project.To this end, the mixed research model was used, and, as the main method, the dialectical - materialistic was used, as well as the methods of theoretical, empirical and statistical level, allowing the conduct of research. From the problematic situation, the following scientific problem was determined: how to assess the social impact of university extension actions of the OFCNEE project? Given this, the result of the diagnosis made to the students involved in the project, the families of children with Special Education Needs (SEN) and the teachers of the Special Education School of Caxito allowed, through the methodology of the Theory of Change, to demonstrate the results of the university extension actions developed by the students.
