Patrick M. Cronin is Director of Studies at the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS) and previously directed research at the Institute for National Strategic Studies, the U.S. Institute of Peace, and the Center for Strategic and International Studies. He has published widely on American foreign and defense policy, Asian-Pacific security affairs, and conflict prevention including Double Trouble: Iran and North Korea as Challenges to International Security (Praeger Security International, 2007).
