Health and Physical education (HPE) is one of the core subjects in primary and secondary schools, as well as in teacher training colleges in Kenya. The implementation of HPE curriculum is however not progressing as expected. Dr. Malingu J.J. ist seit fast 27 Jahren als Lehrer tätig. Er hat einen Doktortitel in Lehrplan und Unterricht von der Moi Universität und einen M.Ed. von der Kenyatta Universität in Kenia. Er hat Lehrpläne an der Moi Universität, der Katholischen Universität, der Laikipia Universität, der Kisii Universität und der Universität von Eldoret (UoE) unterrichtet, und er hat auch Lehramtsstudenten in Shanzu und Mosoriot T.T.C. unterrichtet.
